Hi, I’m Kruger Snyman – and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by!
I call the beautiful North-West Province of South Africa home, where I live with my wonderful wife Charmaine and our four God-fearing, horse-loving, full-of-life children. I’ve always had a soft spot for the classic movie A Man from Snowy River, and I still marvel at the incredible horses God created for us to enjoy. Every day, I’m deeply grateful for His mercy, and for the many friends we’ve met – and continue to meet – along our trails.

Horse Training Services
- Training at My Facility
- Capacity: Limited to 2-4 horses at a time, based on availability
- Booking: 50% deposit required at the time of booking, remaining balance due upon horse drop-off

Net n paar woorde oor Kruger se kursusse en raad. Eerstens het hy vir my aan die dink gesit oor perde. Onthou ek het ook grootgeword met perde en baie mal dinge gedoen onder andere om groot 5jr oue hingste in te breek sonder enige grondwerk. Dit was net n rodeo gewees en al positiewe wat uit bg gekom het was dat ek darem leer bo bly het. Kruger se manier was beter en ek kan getuig van my laaste 5 hingste wat ek geleer het nie een het gespring nie en die basis wat gelê is op daardie perde en die tyd wat bespaar was ,was besonders. Ook by western games het ons hele gesin baie gebaat. Al wat ek kan sê Kruger is n perde genie.
Tian Nieuwoudt met Liandré Rocky
Tian Nieuwoudt: Springbok Endurance rider from Schweizer- Reneke. Former heavyweight winner of Fauresmith 200km.
Rocky het tydens sy nuwelingsfase skielik vir Tian begin afgooi wanneer hy hom op die plaas geoefen het.
Hy het Tian telkens onkant betrap en onophoudelik gebok totdat Tian nie meer kon sit nie....en dan nog met die saal weggehardloop terug opstal toe.
Eendag in 2022 het Rocky baie kruppel uit die veld gekom. Hy kon beswaarlik op sy linker voorvoet trap-die lit was erg geswel. Hy was bykans vir ses maande lank so kruppel.
Tian het besluit dat Rocky se uithouritloopbaan na die maan was en dat hy "leeukos" moes word(wat gelukkig nie gebeur het nie.)
In Oktober 2023 was Rocky nie meer mank nie en die lit was droog.
Tian het vir Kruger Snyman gekontak en daar is besluit dat Rocky onder Kruger se hande en saal moes kom.
Rocky was 7 weke by Kruger waartydens hy 'n metamorfose ondergaan het. Hy en Tian het intussen gekwalifiseer vir Fauresmith 2024.

Tian se woorde
Ek het vir Kruger Snyman in 2016 ontmoet. Kruger het n mindset van sy eie. - dis nooit die perd se fout nie, altyd myne. Die woord 'respek' kom altyd voor in Kruger se gesprekke.
Die woord 'disrespek' het ook n Baie goeie betekenis. Kruger het my geleer van lyftaal, submissive. Die konformasie van n perd. Wanneer leer n perd op sy beste, wanneer hy in n "calm state" is.
Nooit het ek gedink my perd Sal soveel respek hê vir my nie. Belangrike reels voor jy met n perd begin werk. Ringwerk, foute wat in 'n ring kan plaasvind, ongelooflik om Kruger in aksie te sien en vinnig reageer wanneer 'n perd n foutjie maak. Desensitizing en sensitizing. Dat daar 2 tipes oefeninge is, impulsie en soepelheids. Flex, flex, flex jou perd.
Kruger het my gedril met dit. Geleer waar en hoe om perd te ry, hoe om jou perd te stop. Drie reels vir n goeie perd - skool jou perd, 'n nat saalkleedjie en lang ritte.
Ek het geleer wat die woord uithou vermoë beteken. Binne 10 minute is jou perd geleer om boks te klim, met gemak. Absoluut awesome. Ek kan net met lof praat oor al die wonderwerke wat Kruger met my perd Barka gedoen en geleer het. Huidiglik neem ek deel aan Western Mounted Games. Dit wat ek vandag weet en toepas is te danke aan Kruger.
Ek het groot respek vir Kruger Snyman en sal hom met lof aanveveel vir enige hulp of probleme met perde.
